This place is a Silver Lake gem! Easy delicious comfort food with great cocktails! We met our friends for a Friday night dinner and ate outside on their beautiful patio. The service was attentive and friendly and the food is always consistent. To start our friends had Martinis, I had the R & R and my husband had an IPA. For an appetizer we had the Harissa Cauliflower which was tasty but it wasn't spicy even though it had Harissa. For our main course I had the Fish and Chips, my husband the Half Pound Angus Burger with Tater Tots, our friends had the Sausage Campanelle and the Impossible Burger. Everyone was happy with their choices. We even had a Warm Berry Cobbler for dessert! Yes, we rolled on out but it was worth it.

This place is amazing! Firstly, it's incredibly quaint, charming, and architecturally stunning, having previously been a local fire station. The brickwork and archways are something you rarely see today in the modern era of cookie-cutter character-free cube buildings. I definitely feel transported to a different era when I'm there. Additionally, they have a gorgeous interior with a stunning woodwork bar area, along with TWO outdoor patio areas. Both are serene, chill, and amazing to enjoy your meal in. The atmosphere alone is good enough to recommend this place, even if you weren't a fan of the food. However, the food is actually incredible. Everything I've had there is delicious, well-balanced, and memorable. They make a lot of seemingly simple standard dishes, such as breakfast biscuits, french toast, and even more ubiquitous things like mac and cheese and roasted brussel sprouts (a popular trend these days). Despite looking simple or perhaps even boring, these are the best versions of these dishes I've had yet. I've never had better biscuits, and their version of roasted brussel sprouts is the standard to which I compare all others. Even their french fries were incredible, which is hard to do given the ubiquity and heavy competition in creating good french fries. I constantly recommend going here with friends and family, especially when they are visiting out of town. I don't live particularly close to Edendale, but I like this place so much that I make excuses/find reasons to drive into the area so I can eat there. Overall, it's one of my absolute favorite restaurants. Oh, and they are pet friendly! Which is an absolutely enormous cherry on top for pet owners.

We picked this location for our ladies night on a busy Friday. Reservations were made and we were seated outside on their open patio area. The service throughout the night was top notch. The server kept the drinks flowing. My favorite drink would be the P-22. This drink was refreshing, perfectly poured...not too sweet either. We mostly ordered appetizers and all were good. I picked the tempura asparagus after seeing it arrive at a table nearby. Those spears were delicious with crunchy tempura and served with 2 different dipping sauces, the aioli being my favorite. I do wish they would have trimmed the bottom of the asparagus though, it was a bit chewy at the end. This was a great location for our group. We had a fun night all around.

My friend chose this restaurant and I am excited to try a new place. We had a reservation for a party of five on a Saturday evening. We chose to sit outside for the ambience as they turned on lights in the evening. It felt brighter sitting outside vs. inside. Here's everything we ordered: Cauliflower piccata Chicken breast au jus Steak frites Pilsner Ginger beer Smoking maid Simm's cup Asparagus tempura Charcuterie board Parmesan tater tots Warm berry cobbler Bread pudding Cashew vanilla cheesecake The servers are extremely welcoming. Food came out in a perfect timing. We started off with drinks and appetizers, followed by the main course and finished with desserts. The atmosphere, delicious food and great company made this night perfect! Personally I enjoyed Cauliflower piccata and Steak frites very much. I cannot wait to come back and try other dishes on the menu. Parking can be difficult to find. I was able to find street parking in the neighborhood.

Welcome to Edendale. This placed used to be a Fire station built in 1924 and it served the neighborhood of Edendale For over 60 years. It has a very old Hollywood vibe because it used to be close to a lot of silent movie studios Their menu focuses on worldly comfort food, great cocktails. Went here with a group of girlfriends of mine and we had a blast. Our server was Drew and he was very friendly and recommended a lot of good dishes. Loved their cheese and charcuterie board, the Brussels sprouts were tasty and the chips and guacamole were fr The casual environment makes Edendale the perfect spot for a variety of occasions.

This review is not based on the food but the service. I attended an event for the City Council member in the district. The outside seating area was full to capacity and a lively crowd. The inside was dimly lit with a mid sized crowd. There are 4 rooms/sections. The entrance with a wall full of black and white photos displaying the history of the area. There is the dance floor area. Next room includes the bar and lastly the dining area. As I walked throughout the entire restaurant, staff was serving, assisting, communicating and guiding customers. It was clear the team has a top notch staff crew. I look forward to returning for dinner to update my review.

Really cute restaurant that is in an old fire house. I went to dinner on a Tuesday, there were not many people in the main dining area but the bar was packed. I had the fish and chips, which were great although the tarter sauce was not my favorite. My fiancé had the chicken sliders which were bigger than we thought they would be and were great as well. Service was really good. They had a large draft beer menu along with several cans and bottle options as well. I would def go back to sit at the bar.
